The marketing and advertising industry is constantly evolving with algorithm changes, technology advancements, and unforeseen challenges at any given moment. Marketers here at GRO thought it’d be helpful for us to keep track of these changes as we come across them, and if it’s helpful for us, we want to help you, too!

Some of the changes we’ve come across recently include a few new certifications across digital platforms that can help transform the performance of your professional services.

Google Guaranteed Certification

Something new to us this summer in the Google platform, is that it now offers the option to have an upgraded Google My Business profile (complete with a badge) for a monthly fee of $50. The Google Guarantee badge is available for businesses that pass a Google screening and qualification process through Google Local Services. 

If you’re backed by the Google Guarantee, and your customers (that came to your business through Google) aren’t satisfied with work quality, Google may refund the amount paid for the service.

Snapchat Ads Certification

Have you ever logged into Snapchat Ads to build a new campaign or start running an ad and have gotten stuck in the process? Snapchat Ads hasn’t been the most easily navigated social media platform when it comes to advertising, which is why we’re super excited to hear about the launch of Snap Focus. 

Snap Focus is Snapchat’s new learning platform, launched to teach advertisers and agencies all of the ins and outs of Snapchat advertising. The course is broken down into the following sections: Intro to Snapchat, The Snapchat Generation, Advertising on Snapchat, Getting Started on Ads Manager, Creative Best Practices, and Measure and Optimize Campaigns. The entire course can be completed in just under 2 hours, and once all 6 sections have been completed, you’ll earn your Ads Manager Certification.
